He had gorgeous blonde hair, but honestly, he was rocking a Donald Trump style comb over, so it had to be cut. Then I cut it once when she was 1.5 years old because it was just getting unruly and growing out uneven. Now I cut it at 3 years old because I could see it getting split ends and needed to be cleaned up but kept it long. I could see your conflict about adorable curls! Do you feel like it needs to be cut, like it needs to be evened out? I would try to find a hairstylist with experience with adorable curls and just get a tiny short trim to keep the ends healthy. It was just past her shoulders at the time, and I cut it into a cute bob. I cut it because I didn't want her to have "the mullet" as it grew out! Lol now it's all even and ready to grow out again.
