When I wiped there was a little bit of pink-tinged blood, and then I looked down into the toilet and there was a whole bunch of wet egg-white-y mucous running out of me. I think it's really different for everyone though. Other than that, I felt entirely normal. </p> <p>The morning that I went into labor I lost part of my mucous plug. It was unmistakable and very surprising. I know that some people lose their mucous plug days before labor starts, but I was quite sure that losing mine signaled that labor would be starting that day.
