My sister is due at the end of February and will be going back to work after 6 weeks. She paid $100 for a year membership to care.com and found a great lady in her area that is a SAHM with 2 kids (1 in school, 1 at home) that is looking to make some extra $. She is montesorri trained, as well as licensed ECE with police clearence etc and just decided to stay home after he little guy was born. It was divided into home daycares and centers by geographic location and size. Then the person that sent me the list gave me notes about the places she visited for her own kid and those she has spoken to over the phone. I ended up picking the one she sends her kid to. It's a large home daycare. I think max 12 kids w/ good adult/kid ratios. Some of them have websites but only a few. I know there has to be cheaper in-home daycares than the centers but I have no idea how to find them.<br /> I posted on FB asking for some and most people just recommended nannies or centers.</p> <p>How did you find yours? </p>
