What complicates our situation is DD recently moved up from toddler to preschool, so she's spent most of the year with teachers she doesn't have anymore. We gave the two main teachers / ones we knew had a special connection with her gc. I think there are maybe 2 teachers that I don't really think have anything to do with my son's 'care' and 6-8 that he interacts with regularly. In your situation, I'd probably do gifts just for your LO's main caregivers/teachers.</p> <p>In ours, I never see D's actual teacher. The front staff opens the door for me, then goes to get D and brings him out to me. Same in the mornings - Hubs hands him over to one of the front staff, who takes him back to the baby room. I know that on occasion they provide care for him on a day-to-day basis, but for the most part it is the teacher who we never really interact with. DS has 3 main teachers in the infant room but there are others that help out. I know the morning manager helps for drop off as that's who I see but there's an afternoon manager or the principal when DH picks him up. I think we could have as many as 6-7 teachers in the room at one time or another. I wasn't sure if I should do some sort of group gift or what. I'm thinking to do gift cards for the 2 main teachers but not sure how to handle the others, whether to do a communal food gift or something - thoughts? </p>
