I was having crazy, over the top bloating and cramps, continuous, vivid dreams about having a baby and then my period was late. </p> <p>With DD2 we had only been actively TTC For 2 weeks so when my period didn't show up the day it was due, I thought it might be just a coincidence (my cycle usually varies by about 5 days or so). When I first tested I thought it was negative but I just kept thinking that I felt pregnant so I took another one (same day) an d sure enough it was positve. But, with hindsight, with all three I had period-type cramps the day before AF was due. And with the third one, I had felt a bit nauseous all week and very off my food. It was a BFN. So that night DH and I went out and I had a couple beers! </p> <p>A week later, I realized AF still hadn't come. I didn't have any other symptoms. Took a test and BFP, went to the doctor two days later and they confirmed it. D says he had an inkling because he was frying bacon one morning (at like 8-9DPO) and the smell made me run for the bathroom. </p> <p>DD: No symptoms before BFP. Now I'm pregnant!!" And the whole next day I had that same feeling. But I'm not that kind of person at all - I'm pretty much a big downer with my lack of optimism so those feelings really took me by surprise. </p> <p>But realistically, I had cramping but no bleeding, which had never happened to me before.
