I would like to start TTC #2 in the spring and my hope is that my daughter will be potty trained before the arrival of her sibling. I'm good at charting to TTC... Not so great at TTA apparently. </p> <p>Honestly I don't think I ever would've been truly ready if it didn't just happen. I know I want more kids but as they get older (I only know this from experience with DS so far because DD is still so little) I enjoy them more and more and am just content! I am not 100% ready bc I really really really love our routine right now and can't imagine changing things up by adding a newborn. But I will be by the time (currently imaginary) #2 gets here! :grin: We always knew we wanted 2-3 kids, and I have some health issues that pressed the TTC issue before I was really *ready* (I am maybe 70% ready). My husband is also strongly of the belief that he's rather have about 5 years of diapers/no sleep/craziness and just get it over with than space out our kids. But I feel like I was so much more sure about ttc the first time that I am right now with the plans/thoughts of TTC#2. DH is ready, but also patient for when I'm ready emotionally. We are ready financially, and I do want them to be closer in age... but I think it's more of a personal, emotional balance of ready taht I'm looking for!</p> <p>When did you know the second time? Or did it happen by chance? (I'm kind of romantically hoping for this...) </p>
