She has a puppy and chickens and she watches the chickens mate. She always says "look! They're getting married!" lol I don't think she's quite realized that the rooster "marries" all the hens! haha.. @marriedandlovingit: oh no! that's awful. I was in 3rd or 4th grade when one of my friends told me about it while we were playing barbies. She said, "look, they are having sex." It was so weird. My mom was SOOOO mad when she found out. She revisited it when I was 11 and asked if I knew what sex was and made me explain it. That was SO awkward especially since she asked in front of my dad too. As I got older she gave me another book aimed for pre-teens/teens that explained things in more detail and also talked about safe sex. I also had sex ed at school for a few weeks once a year. It was just "health" class up until fifth grade, and we learned about being clean and healthy (germs, communicable diseases, etc.). Starting in fifth grade it became sex ed and the boys and girls were separated. It was back to co-ed starting in tenth grade. I don't remember 7th grade. In 9th grade, we had a whole quarter. We learned male and female anatomy, and I will NEVER forget that our teacher passed out blow pops while we labeled a picture of male anatomy. AWKWARD! Apparently, my mom also sat my sister and I down to talk to us about sex, but we both must have blocked it out, because neither of us remember it. She says she showed us how to put a condom on a broomstick and everything. NO recollection of it, at all!
