But for all the moms it's just an excuse to meet and go for lunch afterward, haha. So Iet about 8 moms that way and we still hang out now. But I work full time and don't see them as much as I like-- the ones who SAH hang out pretty often. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/how-did-you-make-new-parenting-friends#post-2116435 Fri, 20 Mar 2015 17:09:15 +0000 sandy 2116435@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>I joined a mom group and met a few friends through that - now we just hang out together apart from the mom group functions </p> <p>I met another close friend at a music program for kids</p> <p>I've met three different moms at the pool during parent-tot swim sessions and I'm good friends with all three of them now </p> <p>Two other close friends I met indoor play gyms and I'm acquaintances with several other mom/dads/nannies from there </p> <p>Six of us are super close and meet at least weekly for the past two years. And we've also become close to various people we were friends with that had kids around the same age as ours!</p> <p>We've met a bunch of parents through our daughter's preschool and our son's Kindergarten, but for some reason we haven't become close to any of them! I think a lot of parents have already made their friends, and aren't looking for new ones ha.</p> <p>How did you make new parenting friends? </p>
