It was a macaque that bit my husband on a hike up Mt Emei Shan, which is known for their monkeys. DH was carrying my backpack because I was suffering from food poisoning that day and apparently the monkeys smelled some food I had in my backpack so they tried to grab it. DH swatted the monkey away and the monkey bit his hand, drawing blood. As there was no guarantee that the monkey was not rabid, DH had to get rabies shots for the rest of our trip and then his last one in the States, where he was visiting family after the China trip. We hit it off immediatly but he had to quit so I wouldn't get demoted because I couldn't technically date anybody in the post... it was drama filled but oh so worth it! We stayed together through going to college an hour away from eachother for 4 years.</p> <p> We got engaged April of my Jr year in college and married 2 months after I graduated.
