When she moved to a new daycare, she just used a regular blanket and was fine. Sometime in the 6.5 - 7.5 month range. Kind of accidental cold turkey. LO was getting too long for the "one size fits all" carters sleep sacks. We went to a blanket when we moved and he seems to like it.
