Since moving to the NYC area, we have family or friends come visit us at least 1 time a month now, sometimes more. We had guests the weekend after our wedding! We currently have 4 people staying with us in our 1 bedroom apartment. I used to get a lot of cleaning done on the weekends too. We'd stay up super late and sleep in. The only difference was that we could pick up and leave whenever. There were a lot more date nights. At least 1x a month we'd see a movie or go out for wings. It was so easy. We had all the time in the world to get our errands done and spent much of our weekend just relaxing. We were spontaneous and would drive to Philly (45 minutes away) in the middle of the night just for late night munchies.
