She will sometimes tell me poop and whenever she does, I put her on the potty. We have only had two successful poops and most of the time she just sits there and does nothing (but tear off some toilet paper and wipe) and will go 15 or so minutes after I take her off. We try to put her on before her bath and I want to start the habit of putting her on when she wakes up as well. I feel like my LO has been ready for a while, but I have been neglecting doing anything about it until I have more free time starting next week. She sits on her potty (fully dressed) and asks for toilet paper, wipes herself and then throws it in the big toilet to be flushed. I think we'll probably start by having her sit on the toilet in the morning and at night to see if she'll go. She keeps telling me to change her diaper and yesterday she yelled: "Mummy! Diaper change! SQUISHY" when she pooped. </p> <p>We're out and about for a lot of the day so I don't think we can commit to the three day method.</p> <p>How did you/do you plan to start with potty training?</p> <p>I'm thinking to start off by having her sit on the potty every morning and at bed time and try her in pull ups. </p>
