We walked right to the spot where he proposed and were reminiscing about it, when I pulled my eyeglass case out of my purse, got down on one knee, and asked him if he would like to be a daddy. I had opened (and re-sealed) the box from the bottom so the address label looked "new." I picked it up off the porch and was like, "oh you have a package!" He opened it and then pulled out the onesies. He looked at them, said "I think these are for you...."at which point I pulled out the digital test with the word "pregnant" on it and he then caught on! For the second one, he knew I was testing so I just came back to bed and told him I was all sorts of knocked up. I tested on a Sunday when DH was home (we had been arguing just before too, LOL). I gave him some lullaby DMB CDs and a Dad book. When it failed a week later, I took the gifts back to save for next time.</p> <p>This time, I found out from the RE nurse. Last cycle/IUI I had her leave a voicemail and I waited until DH and I were both home that night to listen. He told me not to wait this time so I got the good news in the middle of the day (and was hardly productive the rest of the afternoon!). When he asked, I lied and told him I missed the call and hadn't listened to the VM yet. I bought him two more books - Goodnight NYC and Where the Wild Things Are (his fave!). I also got him a card and POAS that night and taped the Wondfo strip inside under a post-it. Coincidentally, it was 10 days before his birthday so I played it off like it was an early birthday present - which it was! He was even more surprised this time. We bought a new SUV from them and they sent us this box from germany with a detailing shammy in it. I sneakily saved the box and the wrapping. When we got our BFP i wrapped the positive text into the box with the onesie DS is wearing. Then i messaged him at work saying that a delivery from VW germany came. 2 weeks later when he got home he was excited to see what it was. It might be cute to do something involving your other kids.
