I have NO CLUE how we will do this but might tie it into a long vacation I have planned. Tell her no milk at Grandma's and see if she stops asking? We both wanted her weaned by two and I have no interest in tandem nursing. Night sessions were the first to go. Then a few months later we cut the morning session. Then we cut the bedtime session which really kinda about due to her not asking so I didn't offer. . My DD is currently 20 months and LOVES to nurse. I want to continue breastfeeding until she is 24 months but after that I want to wean her. I'm just not sure how? I don't want it to be crazy traumatic or for her to be really upset but I do not want to nurse much longer past 24 months. If you successfully weaned a toddler how did you do it? </p>
