With my DS I was 35 weeks and could see his outline after my water was broken. With my DD my contractions were so God awful immediately after my water was broken I paid no attention!

I had plenty of gushes, but my belly didn't feel any different. If it wasn't soaking me every time I stood up, I wouldn't have known labor had started until I got in the car a couple hours later and the contractions finally hit!

Mine was a trickle as well. By the time I had the gush my contractions were so bad I wouldn't have noticed how my belly felt.

I had ds at 32 weeks, when my water suddenly broke. But, he was small (being so early), so I could tell right away my water broke, by how deflated my belly was.

I know my water hasn't broken on this one, but I was wondering about those of you who had your water break as your first (or earlier) sign of labor? Did your belly feel deflated? I just know that at almost 38 weeks, there's more baby than fluid, so I don't know that it would feel as deflated as it did before. If labor even starts that way!
