She goes both ways. Sometimes she clutches on me for dear life screaming like I'm putting her in fire when I'm really just putting her in the pack n play. Other times she's perfectly fine. She's best while camping, I think because she gets so worn out and tired.

My LO is 6 months, but we've traveled a lot with her. We cosleep when we travel, and she sleeps as well (or passably) as usual. I think we're so busy when we travel that she's just tuckered out!

We did.a night at my ILs beach house last weekend. Naps were a breeze (thank god) but night time was a terror :( she went down easy because we did her nighttime routine to a T but she woke up about every two hours through out the night. I think she would stir from sleep and get scared being in a new place and a new crib. Also we were all sleeping in the same room so she wasn't used to that. So a tough night! That was our only time so hopefully better next time. I hope your night goes better!

DS (10 months old) cried for half an hour before he finally fell asleep at my parent's place for his afternoon nap. That's actually better than I expected, but needless to say, the crying was heart-wrenching for my parents. How was the adjustment for your LO and how long did it take? I hope it gets better, but not looking forward to tonight! I really don't know what to do other than letting him cry-it-out. He's in a new environment, and he never took to a lovey or security blanket.
