I used dresser drawers, and staggered them. It worked really well! She especially loved grabbing the clothes out too. :)

Prettybaby is such a scaredy cat, she gets nervous when she is standing and really only pulls up on DH or I when we are doing floor time with her! lol! The few times I've held her hands and helped her stand she gives me 'not safe' face and cries while reaching for the ground.

We bought LO an activity cube and he practiced on that, and is starting to move on to other things now.

When my LO was learning to crawl and pull up we used food and his paci as motivators. Kiddo loved both so much his face would light up! He also liked things that he wasn't supposed to play with lie remotes, cameras and anything breakable. :-p

In the beginning he did best with surfaces he could easily grip like tables with lips, hs crib, etc. he couldn't grip the ottoman or sofa well so pulling up on those took longer.

@pelikila: This is a great idea, thank you! My LO is very food motivated too so I will be trying this today!

My son was very much food motivated. If we put something just out of his reach, he'd work for it. It worked for crawling and it worked for pulling up to stand. For standing we gave him most of his bottle and then put it up on the coffee table, where he could reach it if he put a bit of work into it.

My LO has made it her mission to pull up to stand on her own but the problem is she only does it in the least ideal places. One is when we're sitting in the glider and the other is in the bath. Those are the only two places she'll try it.
Does anyone have any props they used to help their LO's?
