Ugh I feel for you!
DS took about an hour to go down, then was up three hours later for an hour, then I got another two hours, then was up from 3-5am, then up at 7 and that's when I put him in bed with me. He just started stirring about thirty minutes ago but seems content enough to nurse. So finally got ten hours in him!

@locavore_mama: Lol yeah, by highlight I meant "lowest point" ;)

I'm glad he's weaned now so that I don't feel bad about the 4 cups of coffee I've already had today....except that I can't lie down and nap when he does because I'm too jittery, lol.

@lovehoneybee: ah, low points of parenting for me. Begging, in the motn, in tears for her to sleep.

We are one month into the 18m sleep regression and we might get 1-2 nights a week that are halfway decent. Thank god last night was a decent night.
The night before she woke up 4, 5? between 930 and midnight. Finally DH went in and slept with her on her rug so I can catch some ZZs. Other nights we'll do the same and pull her into bed and she'll just want to play for hours.

Sigh. And of course then I'm wondering if it 's due to me drinking more than one cup of coffee is what's keeping her up.

She fussed on and off all night, and woke up for good at 5:10. Thankfully, I mis-read my alarm clock and hopped out of bed at 4:30 (thinking it was already 5:30), so I was kind of ready for her when she woke up. ((Hugs)) mama!

R slept pretty good. She woke up at 350 and talked herself back to sleep till 640!! I had to wake her up too. I didn't get back to sleep really, 10 mins here and there after the 350 wakeup.

Oh girl. I feel your pain. M was up from 1am to 6am on Monday morning. And I was sick. We tried our bed (no, it's a playground), we tried the glider (I got a crick in my neck), we tried cuddling in her crib (yup and she decided to dump toys on me while I attempted to sleep. Then she tried laying on top of me, which is when I started to worry about weight limits...) Finally, we cuddled on the lazy boy and that kept her content until I couldn't do it anymore and had to pee so I handed her off to Dad. UGH.

Last night she was up at 9, rocked to sleep and slept the rest of the night. I pray for a night like that for you tonight!

@Running Elley: Highlight of my night was begging him, nearly in tears, to lie down with me and go to sleep. I SO wish they had an OFF switch! And 3-4 hours sound awesome for a newborn...I don't think E got there until...5-6 months!

Oh no! That's definitely not fun.

My 6 week old slept 7.5 hours before waking to eat at 4am, then another 3 hours. She is a good night sleeper. Not so much with the naps during the day. She only naps if being held, and lately will only sleep longer than 20 minutes unless I walk and keep moving with her in the carrier. So tiring! But at least mama's getting her exercise lol

@lovehoneybee: Oh my gosh that sounds like hell :(

DS slept throughout the night but unfortunately woke up at 5:45...,which wouldn't be horrible except that I woke up to feed DD at 4:30 and didn't make it back to bed.

DD slept well for a newborn. She does 3-4 hour stretches at night which isn't horrible!

Awful. In bed at 7:15, up for the first time around 10:15, gave him tylenol for the tooth that's coming through. And then all night long...I think it was like 5 times? I ended up going in there twice, the other times he whined for 5-10 min and put himself back to sleep.

And then today he refused his morning nap for the first time ever. So ready for DH to get home and today to be over!

Better than yours, but still getting up super early (5:30a) since Daylight saving ended! She went down around 7:45p, woke up at 5:30a, furiously crying and ready to start the day.

You guys, I am SO wiped.

E went down easily at 8, as normal, but then starting around midnight he was up constantly. He would wake up crying, take several minutes to soothe back to calm, fall back asleep on his own in the crib, and then wake up again 15 minutes later.

All.

Night.

Long.

And to make it worse, as the night wore on it took longer and longer to get him back to sleep. By 6 it was for 20 minutes at a time.

I tried everything, including bringing him to our bed (no good, because Dad's beard is so much fun), and sleeping with him on the futon couch in his room (he would only lay there with me for a minute or two before wanting to get up and walk around). At 4 am.

I don't think I even managed a full two hours of sleep myself, and definitely not consecutively. I'm just barely functioning. It's freezing rain outside and D has the car today so I'm planning on just lazing about in PJs today (both of us, hopefully, although E isn't much for lazing).

He went down for an early nap and I think I'll probably get two out of him today (or have one very over-tired toddler at bedtime).

How did your LO sleep last night? Better than mine I hope!
