I told him I was testing because I was late, having pregnancy symptoms, and he got all excited and wanted to come in with me, but I told him no, don't get excited, I'm sure it'll be negative. He then went to put DD down for a nap. I came running in with the test and it took him a few solid seconds to figure out why i was there (I couldn't speak out of shock) and then his eyes went wide! After DD was down, we just had to process the surprise and the fact that we'd have 2 under 2! I sent him a picture of the positive pregnancy test and I think his text back was "what?!?! We're having another baby!? He had no recollection of our conversation two hours earlier!!</p> <p>So, I got to tell him a first time AGAIN, and this time I got a big hug and kiss. We had just started NTNP, and I didn't even realize I was that late. I quickly tested with the one test that I remembered was in the back of the cabinet and almost fell over when I saw the positive. LO was only 11 months!</p> <p>He was then cautiously optimistic while I was worried. It didn't feel like any of my other pregnancies, and I had a feeling something was wrong. I had *just* lost my job, so we were stressing, and we were pretty sure I was out for that month (thought I started my period), so we were going to stop TTC for a couple months until I got a new job/got settled. We were out of town staying at my parents' house, and I had a hunch and tested. I had to whisper-tell him in a different room because we weren't going to be telling family that early. So, it was rushed and a little uncomfortable... haha!</p> <p>I'd like to say he's excited now that I'm 20+ weeks, but he just doesn't get excited about stuff, especially since he's not really experiencing the pregnancy.
