I don't have an answer but we've been dealing with the same thing. I bring him into bed with us and nurse him back to sleep so I can get another hour.

We went through the 4:30-4:45 wake up from about 10 months until 13 months. She's gradually gotten better and is back to her usual 6:30ish wake up but the only thing that made things better was time. We tried EVERYTHING just like you and resorted to bringing her to bed until she eventually passed out but there were many mornings we were making breakfast by 5am. Maybe what might have helped was switching to one nap? With one nap DD is tired and ready to pass out by 6:30/7.

I wish I knew the answer so I could do it. Our pedi said we are doing everything right, just have to wait it out.

When you find out let me know! Our 20 month old has never slept past 6 AM, and for the last 5-6 months has been rising for the day at 5-5:45, no matter when we put her down.

@Mrs. Blue: Thanks for the reminder that this is probably just a phase. I had no idea there was a nine month sleep regression! Here's hoping all these boys move past this sooooon!

I have no answers but just wanted to sympathize. F has been waking up for his early morning bottle and just WON"T go back to sleep regardless of what time he woke up, whether it's 3 or 5:30. Ughh.. I'm hoping it's some 9-month regression thing. Hope LO starts sleeping betters soon!

Hi everyone!

DS is almost nine months old and, in general, he is a good sleeper. He passes out right after his bath and bottle, usually between 6:30-7pm. I can put him in his crib drowsy but awake and he gets himself to sleep on his own.

At the seven month mark, he started sleeping through the night until about 6am. It was blissful. However, he has now started waking up at 4:30am every morning. He is more reliable than my alarm clock! I KNOW he is not ready to start the day at this time because he will rub his eyes and act cranky all morning.

For the past few weeks, we've been bringing him into bed with us to give him a bottle. Right after his bottle, he falls back asleep (in our bed) until we all get up for work at 6am. I stay in bed with him beside me and close my eyes, but I am not able to actually get any restful sleep with this set up.

We've tried adjusting the bedtime. We've tried having him cry it out in the morning but his screaming just escalates. We've tried rocking back to sleep in the crib after the bottle, giving a pacifier, giving a blanket. I am at a loss! Any other ideas or am I destined to never sleep past 4:30am again?
