@babybysurprise: Have you tried sitting out in the hallway in her line of sight when she wakes up until she passes back out? I have done this during rough patches of sleep with our almost 30 month old. It really stunk for a week of two, but eventually he seems to settle back down to the idea that he needs to stay in his crib.

@FaithFertility: maybe, that was actually something I was considering trying

@Charm54: I was thinking this as well. Of course we got the convertible crib so we could just take the rail down. I'm just super worried to spend the money on a big girl bed and have the same issues.

Could she be ready for a big girl bed? My dd1 loves to snuggle with DH and I in her bed before she goes to sleep

So long story short my DD (2 years, technically 27 months) has never been a great sleeper. We finally got her to sleep through the night by bringing her into bed with us usually about 5am. In our bed she would sleep to 7am. Unfortunately, this has now backfired (I should have known) and now she won't sleep in her bed for more than an hour and 1/2. She wakes up screaming her head off right at an hour and 1/2. if we get for back to sleep in her crib it's only for another hour. If we put her in our bed..no wake ups, even when we are not in the room with her. I think she knows are bed is more comfortable. I tried getting a form mattress pad for her crib but that didn't work. I am at a complete lose at what to try next. Help...please.
