The key for me has been to just soak it with something as soon as possible. I alternate between oxiclean and a natural spray from Better Life.

The store brand stain spray from Babies R Us has worked wonders for us. My husband has even started using it on his yard work clothes.

For really bad or already set-in stains we use the OxyClean powder and make a paste that we rub in. On less intense stains I just use Shout and spray it on a few minutes before I start the load. Dish soap works really well on greasy stains, too!

I keep a bar of Fels Naptha laundry soap on top of the washer and vigorously rub it right on the stain before throwing it in the wash. It's worked on virtually every stain we've had. We use Tide free and gentle on a normal 40 HE wash cycle on warm/cold water.

My mother, the stain master, swears by Simple Green as a stain remover. It did wonders on some recent stains that LO had in her dresses. Some clothes, though, I find to be hopeless. This is especially true in our case for carter's pj tops. We just can't keep them clean!

I give it a good go with some elbow grease and velvet soap first, then if there is still some stain left I will let it soak in napisan, or spray some preen on it, and then give it a full wash in the machine.

I'm a huge fan of oxyclean spray. It almost always gets stains out the first try. If that doesn't work I spray it with oxyclean and soak in a basin with soap to soak for a few days or whenever I do wash again and that usually does the trick.

I use Oxyclean laundry spray, and I rub it in with a nail brush. I let it sit while the washer fills and then wash on cold and check before drying.

Generally I will immediately put some dish detergent on the stain and then put some Oxyclean in the wash. If it's a bad stain I will soak it in Oxyclean before I wash. I have also had good luck with a Spray n Wash stick.

I put laundry detergent directly on the stain and let the clothes soak for a bit before starting the cycle. For bigger stains I put h2o2 on first then laundry detergent.

I don't know what category to put this under. sorry! I can't seem to get stains out of my kid's clothes. They are outside at day care a lot, and do art projects, so she always comes home with stains. I use detergent +oxy clean in the laundry, but the stains don't come out! What do you do to get the clothes clean? I use a short cycle wash, so I wonder if that could be the problem.
