<description>&#60;p&#62;If you are on a wifi like on your home network it does not count towards data usage.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Basically anytime you download, open, send/receive information (aka do anything besides talk/text) on the smart phone and you are NOT on wifi it counts towards data.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Do you have wireless in your house? I connect to wifi at home/work so I am only using data when I'm not at those two places!&#60;br /&#62;
Also make sure to close apps.. they run in the background if you don't close them properly and will use up more data!

&#60;p&#62;If I get an iphone, does the data limit only count towards being online, or does it also get used up if on apps?  I had a smartphone for a few months last year, and never went over my data limit, but I'm afraid that if I get an iphone now, I'll go over my limit...
