A 3 month old died from his seat falling out of there about a year ago. </p> <p>I would wear her in her sling most times until she got big enough to sit in the basket. Either my hubby goes on his own or we go together with one cart for the baby and one for groceries. It may seem like it sits/clips on there but it is not designed to do that and it may not be safe. It makes the cart very top heavy and the entire car seat can tumble out if you hit a bump.
