I don't think we started getting serious about the whole shower thing until somewhere in the 3rd trimester, for either of the showers we had with #1. A friend of mine and my mom both offered to host one when I was still in my first trimester and since then radio silence. I don't want to refer people to "ghost hosts." (I'm currently in 22.5 weeks.)</p> <p>Even though Mr. Lime and I planned to buy everything ourselves, I wouldn't turn down a shower since that means cake, cake, cake! Plus it would be fun guessing the baby's sex. </p>
