My FIL rubbed my belly once and I was mortified...the next few times I saw him I put my hands protectively around my belly and turned away...I didn't really mean to but that was my instinct when he walked towards me. Mostly it's my DH's mom and even his dad one time. I thought I would be ok with friends and family touching my belly, but I'm really not. I'm not a touchy feely person to begin with, so people touching my belly is uncomfortable. I would prefer them to at least ask first. </p> <p>So how do you go about gently telling them you don't want to be touched? Or blocking them in the first place? </p>
