LO is almost a year old, and he kind of sucks (pun intended) at getting the milk out if he's just sitting (or standing, which he likes to do) holding the bottle by himself. It's like if he tips his head enough to get milk, he can't balance.
So mainly I hold him in my lap/arms to get him reclined, but he holds the actual bottle.

We always held my son until he wanted to hold the bottle and did so consistently. That is when we started to prop him up on a boppy to drink his bottle. We still hold him for his evening bottle of water right before he is put in his crib.

When we do bottle feed, we always hold her. The only time we've ever fed her a bottle not holding her is when we're in the car

Do you always hold your LO when you give them a bottle? Or do you put them in a recline position in a high chair?
