She's not in daycare just yet, but it's walking distance, so I'll be using her stroller. I'll just leave her stroller there and pick it back up when it's time to get her. But it all depends on if I have time to go back home or not.

I'll be doing the same as you! We live at the top of a hill in between two MetroNorth stations. The one I usually walk to is about 5 minutes away. The other one, north of us and by the potential daycare, is about 7 minutes away. Drop off and pick up will be my job so I'll either wear LO or, if I can leave a stroller there all day, do that.

If we get a spot in our preferred daycare, I will have to bring the baby on the bus unless DH does drop-offs and pickups. I'm more than a little nervous about this prospect. The center is across the street from where I work, but I don't drive to work (my employer subsidizes my bus pass but I'd have to shell out $200+ for a garage in the area if I wanted to drive. DH works a few blocks away but his employer owns the parking garage in its building and provides employee parking).

Definitely drive. It would be a decent bike ride, if I had a real bike (only have a beach cruiser, not so great for hills!).

It's about a 15-minute uphill walk to her child care from our apartment. Luckily, I can leave our stroller at their house! When I was working I'd just hang my purse on the stroller handles and have her lunchbag in the storage basket beneath the stroller.

We walk now (about 1 1/2 miles each way). He walks about half of it and I wear the Beco with him hin for about half of it. I then come back home and get ready for the day. So it is easier that way for me. Then I drive to pick him up and drop him at his other daycare. And pick him up from there on my way home from work.

Daycare is a 5 min walk, ok, 10min with DS. Usually DS and I just walk. Now that he has a broken leg, I have to take him in the stroller since I'm pregnant and cannot carry him that far. But that means we have to take the longer way around since there is a set of stairs. I WAH though, so I bring the stroller back with me.

In the car ;-) I still look like an "old man band" when I'm getting her out of the car and unloading everything into the house each day.

Our daycare is about 3 blocks away from our house and I put DD in the Ergo and carrier her to daycare. I cant use a stroller because I would have to make the trip home and it would take an extra time to do that and then walk to the train station.

When my DD goes to daycare my sister says I look like a one man band since I have her in the Ergo, her daycare bag and my purse and lunch bag LOL

I was just wondering how do you take your LO to daycare?
