They are really soft and not at all crinkly. We got one when we bought our new mattress. I nearly had an heart attack when one of our dogs had peed on our bed. Luckily, the mattress protector saved the day. Vacuum it up before putting the sheets back on. Bac out nukes smells too. It's hit my two lo's the worse. C just covered my mattress in puke. I JUST put our new bed set on this afternoon too. I know she just coughed to hard, it was after a really long coughing spell. </p> <p>Anyway how do you clean that? Besides the three loads I'm running in the washer, I soaked the spot with white vinegar. What do you do? </p>
