We have pink grout everywhere and we picked a light tan. I will say that the color of the Grout Renew we chose is actually lighter than the color card at Home Depot - but it works. It is pretty time consuming, but it is not difficult. I usually let it spray it on the grout, let work for about 5 minutes, and do a very quick, light scrub. The dirt usually all comes up. It's been just over a year and it has held up perfectly! I love that it is also a sealer. The only thing that I didn't like was it seemed as if we had very limited colour options in Ontario.
