Around back to school time, I bought a 10 pack of microfiber washcloths, so we use those for a day and throw them in the wash.

She's almost 4 now so stays clean after meals. Just need to take her to the sink and wash her hands.

She was def messier as a baby / toddler - then it was a combo of baby wipes or sink, depending on how messy she was

We do a mix of cloth wipes with water, wet paper towel, and putting the learning tower at the sink and just washing his hands face. Depends on how messy he is. DS is 19 months.

DS is almost 3 and he's been going to the sink to wash his hands and face for almost a year now. DD just turned one and now we just bring her to the sink and wash her face and hands with water too. We used to use a wash cloth on her but she hated it and it never fully cleaned her hands/face.

Now that DS is almost 2, it's not that messy. He just goes to the bathroom sink after and washes his hands and mouth area. We have a few placemats at home that get rinsed/laundered after, too.

For restaurants though, we still take baby wipes. I don't know when I'll ever stop carrying baby wipes haha.

DS is 2.5 and we wash up in the sink since he was 2? Maybe a lil before then. Don't recall exactly. But if he's super messy, I pre-clean up with a wet wipe.

We have 10 washcloths from Amazon. They go right into the laundry bin after each meal. I do laundry enough that 3 days worth is great. If she's not to messy I just use her bib.

We use babganics wipes. I buy them in bulk and keep a big package on the counter. I don't think I could keep up with millions of wash cloths, and the germ factor would ick me out.

I use a wet washcloth, but a new one each meal. I can use one and it does her hands, face and highchair tray.

Now i just need a better presoaking system to get them cleaner!

We usy use wet wash clothes too- we have a ton of them. I'll use one for a day usually then toss it in the wash, unless it's a really messy meal. DH never switches it out and would use the same one forever if I didn't put it in the hamper and get a new one.

For messy meals she may also wash her hands at the sink but we don't have a stool in the kitchen, only the bathroom, so it's just less convenient. Plus we have to wash her face anyway. She's 2.5.

We keep 2 small wooden boxes full of those thin baby wash cloths in our living and dining rooms. We use those for wiping his face and hands after meals. They were also really useful to have on hand during the spit-up days. Just wet them in the sink and wipe him down. They get tossed in with regular laundry after a single use, so no fear of germs growing on them.

My daughter is still ilunder 2, so we use a wet wash-cloth to wipe her down. Sometimes I'll use wipes or paper towels of the mess is really bad or we don't have clean towels, but I feel like I get a better clean with the wash cloth. We have a big stash, and tend to use 1-2 per day, as needed. I don't like to spread germs either!

I bought a package of really cheap baby washcloths (it was like $6 for 10 washcloths). I use one for a couple of days and then toss it in the laundry.

ETA: these are separate from our kitchen washcloths and are only used for cleaning up DD after meals.

I am in a terrible habit of using baby wipes to clean up the girls after meals, but it's such a waste! It sometimes takes a couple of wipes, if it's an especially messy meal, x3 meals per day! I want to be more conscious of this and try and use a washcloth. I'm weird about germs on things though, but if I switch out daily then it really shouldn't be an issue!

How do you clean up your LO after meals? When do kids start going to the sink to wash hands on their own?
