Even now that she is in the grown up tub, thats how I clean it. Pour some in, add water, let it soak for a bit, then wipe with a paper towel or sponge and rinse it well. Some else suggested Dr Bronners as well. I rinse it well after each use, but I don't use any detergent on it. If it gets grimy, I just use his baby shampoo.
