I just boil water in them until the gunk loosens up. Then, my husband and I take turns at scraping it down.

Not sure if this will work on a pan, but I burnt a glass dish once baking chicken and what finally got it off (after soaking for like a week and scrubbing didn't work) was putting it in the freezer, taking it out, scrub, back in the freezer.. repeat.

@FutureMrsMcK: I found a sample pack of the bar keepers that I got at an expo some where. Right now it's soaking in vinegar & baking soda. It seems to be working a little, the soda mix is turning brown. If that doesn't work Ill be trying the bar keepers tomorrow!

@banana: these are expensive freaking pans that DH & I got talked into buying when we got married. One of those things where you come listen to our talk an you get a free 3 day 2 night vacation. The pans have been recalled (ha) so if we can't get it we will be shipping them off soon anyways. They can deal with it!

@Sugar.Biscuit: Their site says you should avoid using it on anodized aluminum pans but it looks like it'd be fine with your pans. Seriously, the stuff is amazing.

If it's a stainless pan, steel wool usually does the trick. The rule here is whoever wrecks it cleans it. DH has become a much more careful cook lately because of this!
