I get a bit of exercise and the floors are sparkly! I highly recommend NOT using a wet jet...in my experience, those things just leave an icky chemical residue on the floor that attracts more dirt. Sweep to get the big things, dry microfibre to get the lingering dog hair (Rubbermaid brand w/ detachable cloth), steam mop to get the dirties out (H2O Steamvac brand) then I use a wet microfibre cloth (same rubbemaid thing as above, new cloth) for a floor polish. Wipe up with a paper towel or Clorox wipes for a spill. And I steam mop probably like once or twice a month (well, that's the whole house).
