Using cloth didn't make it dirty and there was no odor left behind.</p> <p>My mom got me this stuff for Christmas but I have yet to use it and I don't know if it is CD safe. I just run some bleach through on hot, and then do a few cycles on empty after that. Then I wash a load of towels or something I don't care about, because the bleach smell persists for a few washes.
