i use fresh 20 sometimes but then I ask DH what sounds good and build around that. So if he wants spaghetti one night, I know that's a 2.25 lb block of ground beef. So we'll probably have a taco type meal another night to use up that beef.

i start with checking sales for the week. generally i see what protein is on sale and then build my meal plan around that & what meals i can make out of leftovers. for instance if whole chickens are on sale, one night i'll roast the chicken & eat it with sides, then i'll turn the leftovers into a casserole and soup for other nights. or ham one night, then throw it in quiche for another meal. then i keep easy staples on hand to fill in other nights. i'm not very creative with my meals :silly:

Pinterest and Skinnytaste. Recipes that are all around winners go into a recipe binder I made. I have a decent amount in there now, so when I meal plan I pull ideas from that and try to mix in one or two new recipes a week to see if I can find more winners.

I often buy similar ingredients and then find different recipes for those ingredients.

Pinterest! Im the pickiest, so I just pick things I know I'll eat. I just see what kind of meat/staples I have around and then search through pinterest to find things that look appetizing based on what I have.

I usually see what I already have in the fridge or freezer and start from there. I also check what's on sale (as far as meat!)

My issue is being creative. I have the same general meals on constant rotation. It is hard to feed us and my daughter when I'm picky, my daughter is hit or miss and my husband would eat almost anything. I don't want to make 3 meals!
