I went to a large high school in the 'burbs and graduated with probably 600 or so people. I'd say 75% of us started 4 year college, but I'd say only 60% finished. At my 10 year reunion, most people that came were married or divorced - and those ones generally had kids.

I have a masters degree and a professional license (CPA), DH is an attorney who passed his bar on the first try. At the risk of sounding caught up in myself, I'd say I'm somewhere in the top 15-20%. We both have successful careers, own a home and two cars, we're not without debt but its manageable. A lot of my HS stayed in the town where I grew up, which is fine, but due to its location it does somewhat limit career opportunities...

I graduated in a class of 400+ people. I'd say maybe a third have finished college and then another chunk of us got a late start and are currently enrolled. Many of us are married with children, but there's probably more that had children and are either divorced or never married. We've lost several members from my class to drugs, suicide, and car accidents and many have moved out of Florida to pursue professional careers in television and the arts. With a class as large as mine, I think its hard to say exactly where we rank, but regardless I consider myself happy and blessed to be where I am in life.

My HS was 49 girls and I'd say by and large we're all in the same professional level. Maybe because it was a private school?

My graduating class was about 1000 people so it would be hard to generalize without someone taking real statistics of the group.

I think I'm right in the middle with having a college degree, owning a home, being married, and having a baby.

There are some old friends that have done well for themselves (MLB player, business owners, etc) and there are some people that sort of act like they are still in high school and haven't done much with themselves other than having a couple of baby mamas. I mostly leave high school in high school and don't really keep close tabs on what people have been up to.

I have no idea..... We had a big class and I didn't go to my reunion. Out of my friends and Facebook friends most are college graduates. About half are married or engaged. Not many have kids, only one of my friends does.

Something like 15% of my (public school) graduating class went to Ivy League colleges and I think 95% went to any college, so I think with a masters and a job I'm somewhere in the middle of the pack. I'm not curing cancer or anything :)

I would guess that that DH and I are in the the top 25% of our graduating class. We're pretty successful, both work, own our home and 2 cars. We don't want for much. Were very blessed.

Most of my hs friends are doctors and have professional careers. No SAhMs.

Edit: I went to hs in ohio so I know most of my graduating class are married with kids. I'm sure a lot of the girls are stay at homes.. my circle of friends were overachievers and career driven though.

I went to a small, all girls, college prep school, so I think everyone at least started college. I know of a small handful that dropped out early on but I think most finished and I know a bunch have more degrees after that. Based on Facebook, guessing at least half are married, with or without kids now (I'm 31 so this isn't unusual). A few seem to be really successful.

I fit right about in there-- hard to base it on Facebook but I feel like I'm doing at least as well as average.

I know a lot of women on here are college graduates, successful businesswomen, married, own homes, have kids, etc. Is that the norm for your graduating class, or are you in a more successful place? Or worse?

About half of my class went to college, and about half of them have dropped out of college. The half that did not go to college is split between being military/marrying military or living at home with their parents and a kid or two. One girl is a model, a few are really excelling in college, some are married and moved away, a couple work around town and live with DHs or BFs. I counted 15 girls who have kids already (without thinking too hard, just off the top of my head) while about 6 girls are married (not from the 15).

I have a full time, decent paying job..I own a home, have two cars paid off, am married to a man with a full time job-non military, and I have no kids.

Soo, I would say I am doing a lot better than a pretty large chunk of my class. It's too early to tell with others, but here's to wishing success for them!
