DD is almost one and still doesn't like having her nails cut. I usually try to get her distracted with the TV and then cut as many as I can with the clipper. It usually takes a couple tries to get them all done. I use a clipper for toenails. When he was younger I could sometimes bite or scrape them down, but they were often still jagged. I put the child on my lap facing out. I use clippers and it sometimes takes me a few tries to get all her nails done. I feel like I'm constantly clipping her nails because if she goes more than three days she starts shredding her face! DH usually holds her down after bath time while I trim with baby nail scissors...there is a lot of crying and screaming involved. When do you cut your infant's nails? Do you use clippers, scissors or something else?
