I use Safety 1st baby clippers and I also put him in front of the tv to distract him otherwise he just tries to grab the clippers with his other hand!

I use Safety First's baby nail clipper and I've been cutting them while he hangs out on the Boppy since he was a newborn so he actually tolerates it now. I just give him a toy to play with while I'm cutting his other hand. I'm also more comfortable b/c I'm seasoned in the nail cutting department as well as he's my second.

I cut him too many times with baby clippers. My adult clippers and a sunny window work best for us.

I use scissors (from a pocket knife--I'm sure that qualifies as "other." They are the perfect size and nicely dull to prevent injury from accidental slips. )
I also use adult clippers (I checked mine and they are the same size as the infant ones) and biting in extreme cases,

I bought every brand of nail clippers from BRU and had problems with all of them, they weren't sharp enough and baby's nails were too soft. I went online and found some excellent reviews for this nail clipper from Japan. I bought it and I must say I LOVE IT. Just remove the annoying plastic piece from it that's meant for catching nail clippings. It's extremely sharp so we haven't had anymore bleeding nails in our household.

The first few times, I used the emery board to file them (while she was sleeping). After that, it was easier to use a baby clippers, then file the rough edges (again, while she slept). Now, I clip her nails after feeding her (and file) - she's 4.5 months.

I used baby nail scissors for awhile because the clippers clipped too close to his skin and I cut it so short once his finger bled. I felt awful!! Now I can use the baby nail clippers with light and he finds the light fascinating so he holds still now.

The scissors were amazing though. I recommend having both on hand.

I use these Piyo Piyo nail scissors: http://www.amazon.com/PIYO-BABY-NAIL-SCISSORS-Precision/dp/B004DFO57M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1349114119&sr=8-1&keywords=piyo+piyo+nail+scissors

I have to wait until Husband is home to help distract her - she's too squirmy for me to handle alone.

My LO is 14 months and a light sleeper so it's not easy. She also isn't interested in TV so getting her to sit and watch something or distract her with anything like that doesn't help. I use nail clippers and I'll usually do 1-3 nails at a time and then just try again the next day.

I sit in front of the tv and clip her nails. I use American Red Cross clippers and they work fine. Seriously, she is so engrossed in the tv (and i never turn the tv on when she's around) that it's easy for me to clip her nails.

I use baby clippers, but his nails are so soft and the clippers so small that I feel like it takes forever! He's super squirmy, too, so I have to wait until he's sack of potatoes asleep to do it. I've also tried biting them off, but I don't find it much more effective than the clippers.

I've read emory boards work well, or just peeling them off (except that by the time they get long enough to peel he's scratched his face--and me--up).

How do you care for your LO's nails?
