@mediagirl: That's tough. One of B's favorite teachers at daycare resigned to take care of her sick husband. I was so upset, because she was part of the reason we choose this daycare. I'm not a huge fan of his new teachers, but B seems happy, so I don't let my personal feelings get in the way of B enjoying school. For awhile, I wanted to pull him out and try another daycare, DH had to talk me out of that one.

I am kind of intolerant of change when it comes to my son, like with his nap times and sleep schedules. Call me inflexible, but I would rather not deal with the not-enough-sleep monster.

We've changed pediatricians a lot (we are moving on to number 5 in the next month) and that, I will be honest, has sucked. The first guy retired, the woman who replaced him went on a mission in Africa, the third guy who was great was abroad, the fourth guy is leaving the practice to go to a pharma company, and the 5th woman is the managing partner of the practice, so I sure hope this is the end.

It depends on what it is. For instance, yesterday was LO's first day in the 12-18 month old nursery room at church. I was really looking forward to it, because I knew that she would like it more than the other room. I was right! We didn't get called to pick her up early, which had been happening every Sunday for the previous two months. However, I almost had a breakdown the first night she wore two piece pjs and the first night she slept without a sleep sack.

I found out this morning I have a VERY difficult time dealing with change in her life.

The morning teacher at her daycare was in an accident last night. She has a fractured pelvis and a broken hand. I figure she's going to be out for a few months with these injuries (and she's 71 years old). I'm SO devastated. This woman has been there every single morning that I have dropped M off. She never took a vacation or sick day in the 8 months we have been going there. We had a little routine because M was always the first one there. This morning was different because the little things her normal teacher did didn't happen and it made me sad.
