Honestly - if I was really sick I would call DC and see if they would feed her some leftover for dinner, pick her up at 6:30 (when they close) and basically start the bedtime routine as soon as we get home.</p> <p>If DH was around and fine he would take over single parenting!</p> <p>We have, one time when we both had the flu which we got from DD, had to call in grandparents.
