Ohh good question. Currently with only 1 LO I have all his toys (about 12) in a basket and he plays with them all. I wonder if rotation would keep him more interested!

I've wondered what others do. We are running out of room on the toy shelf and I really need to do this.

I was doing toy rotation for a few months but then once LO2 was born I didn't keep up on it. I brought out a toy that was in the closet, up on a shelf and the girls sat and played with it for hours! It reminded me that I really need to get back into rotating their toys. They get so bored when they have access to all of their toys at once. I think they get overwhelmed, too.

If you do toy rotation, how often do you do it? How many toys do you tuck away each time? Do you find that it makes a difference with how well your LO plays with the toys that are out?
