Flat surface or on someone's chest. On the boppy does work too but we found she rolled a lot that way.

We do it on a flat surface, usually the floor or the playmat with a blanket underneath.

On a flat surface. She's not a fan of tummy time though. She's 4 weeks today and the last several times we tired tummy time she was so upset she flipped onto her back then preceded to cry like crazy!

We do it on the Boppy and flat on the floor. We usually do it on the floor if LO is bored so we can put a toy or book there for her to look at. Otherwise, it's flat on the ground.

We started on DH's tummy and as she got stronger, we would put her on the floor with a small, rolled up blanket under her chest to help hold her up.

Either on daddy's tummy or playmat. She tolerates it but does not like it!

Boppy? Wouldn't that arch their back? Just curious.

My LO is five weeks old today and we do tummy time on a flat surface. She loves her little play mat so after a feed, I wait about 20 min to make sure nothing is going to come back up and then we pop her down on her mat. I think she likes the pressure on her tummy as she is usually happy to stay there for ten minutes or so before I flip her onto her back. She also gets a lot of tummy time laying on mummy or Daddy's chest but we don't count that as proper tummy time, although she does practice lifting her head and turning it side to side in that position.
