It's not necessarily because of the style of our church although it does lean a bit more towards traditional dressy church clothing. Maybe it's a southern thing but, wow. The men come to church in suits in the summer and the women get all done up in their Lily Pulitzer dresses or similar brands. You should see some of the seersucker we see, as well! Our church is in a very wealthy area so, you have a lot of families who are very well off there. I usually pull a dress out of the closet and wear it with flip flops. I usually wear casual dresses or skirts and tops. In cold weather I sometimes wear nice jeans. The only things that are off limits for me are flip flops, sleeveless tops, and athletic/t-shirt type stuff.
