In NYC we used footmuffs by JJ Cole and rain/wind covers to keep the cold air out. Not sure we'd buy footmuffs again now that we're in SoCal. I just dress the girls warmly and give them thick stroller blankets... I do have a stroller blanket with sewn-in ribbons that I tie to our strollers. It's by RoSK and I got it on Baby Steals.

You could also get the weather shield for the Bob... that would keep cold air out and the blanket from falling out, too.

I just totally scored at Old Navy's outerwear sale. I got a thick coat, and a pair of snow pant overalls. I figured that I can layer those for rides in the bike trailer when it's really cold.

We have a big snuggly fleece suit with bear ears from the Gap. I put DD into that over her clothes, and then pop her in the stroller. Snuggly and so warm!

Do you tuck the blanket snugly into her sides and under her feet? We do that with ds and it always stays put. He usually wears three layers under that; onesie, long sleeve shirt and either his terry peacoat or zip up fleece. He also wears a hat and gloves. For his feet he has pedipeds but I put leg Warmers over that for a little extra wind protection but under his pants

We have the JJ Cole bundle me and use that along with layers of clothes and a north face body suit for cold days.

@Mrs. Bee: Ooh I've been looking for one like that! This is off topic, but I imagine your house being similar to a baby store with all the awesome gear you guys have, lol!

We have a 7am Enfant Stroller bag. Those are heavy duty for very cold weather though. You could get a thinner one from JJ cole. They are perfect for chillier California weather!

They have those bunting bags that somehow attach to the stroller. I don't know what would work with your stroller specifically. My friend has this one that has elastic all around and attaches onto the infant carseat. There's a little hole for the baby's face.

Otherwise, you could just try to layer up-- maybe a onesie, l/s shirt and hoodie with a knit cap underneath. For the legs I like slipping on baby legwarmers under the pants because otherwise the air blows up the leg in the stroller.

We went on a light jog with our Bob stroller tonight and it was cold (for CA) so I dressed LO warmly and put a blanket on her. The blanket kept falling off during our jog...is there a better way to keep a baby warm in a stroller? Any recommendations?
