I like fresh tuna, but I try not to eat it too much because of mercury.

I do not understand why anyone would eat canned tuna. Euuuuyyyuuuuchhhh!

I will always remember my first time eating chu-toro at Tsukiji Market. NOM!

My favorite is seared ahi (at restaurants) or sashimi.

At home - just simple canned tuna sandwiches with mayo, finely chopped celery & sweet pickles, salt, pepper.

The only way I eat tuna (canned) is in tuna casserole. My mom made it growing up and it is total comfort food (and was the first recipe I learned how to make myself).

I buy the canned tuna in olive oil (sometimes you can find it for less expensive in the Italian or Spanish section of the grocery store) and I then make cold pasta salad.

I like to put it over pasta with veggies. My favorite is the yellowfin in olive oil from trader joes because the olive oil is great with the pasta.

My husband introduced me to Korean ways of eating tuna, which are also good. Tuna with rice, seaweed, and kimchi. Tuna in kimbap rolls. Yum.

Sometimes I put tuna on a salad.

or a tuna melt: toasted bread, top with tuna salad & slice of cheese pop in microwave for a smidge, cover with other slice of toasted bread. Some people add lettuce & tomato.

or seared tuna in a salad (at restaurants)

Raw or seared for tuna steaks. As a spicy tuna roll.

Canned tuna: with a little bit of mayo and a lot of pickles. My favorite way to have canned tuna is with lemon juice, teeny bit of mayo, onion and sriracha. With chunks of avocado in a salad, or on top of crackers.

Maybe they would like tuna tartare - DS wouldn't stop eating it at a restaurant last weekend.

Growing up I never ate tuna, but I'd love to get my kids into tuna because they kinda sorta like fish. I like tuna fish sandwiches.

How do you typically eat/prepare it?
