I give him a snack or bits of what I'm cooking and he "chats" with me. He makes a huge mess but lives having jobs (basting garlic bread, snapping green beans, pouring things). That lasts a good half hour. I usually stick her in her bouncer that I pulled into the kitchen area, but that usually only works for about 10 minutes. Both girls are exhausted from the day and hungry, DH is still at work and I'm trying to get dinner together. I do as much prep as I can during nap but it's not always possible. Do you have any tips for entertaining LO while trying to cook meals? </p>
