Like others have said I love the feeling of her kicks and moves but can do without the constant heartburn, trouble sleeping, and always feeling exhausted.

I am really not a huge fan of pregnancy itself. Don't get me wrong--I planned for, prayed for and tried for this baby and couldn't want her more! I've just only had about 2 months of this pregnancy where I felt pretty good-- between the first awful, sick 18 weeks and then starting to get uncomfortable around 26 weeks. I do love feeling her kick and hiccup, and daydreaming about what she's going to look like and the first time I get to hold her, and I love knowing she's safe and snuggly in there right now. I just don't love not sleeping, the heartburn and reflux, the peeing every 5 minutes, the feeling constantly exhausted, the food restrictions/ aversions/ nausea, and feeling like my body isn't mine.

Thanks, ladies. It helps to know that the majority of you don't LOVE being pregnant.

The past couple of days (knock-on-wood), I've started to feel a little better...I really look forward to being in the midst of my second trimester and it sounds like I'll really start to love being pregnant when I can feel my little one move around!!

I don't hate it, but I don't like it either. For the 1st trimester I felt like I had food poisoning until 14 weeks. 2nd tri was better but the back pain started. 3rd tri is not too fun, I have too many complaints about my aches and pains. Inner thighs, pelvis, hips, lower back! It hurts to get dressed, to walk up the stairs :( I've been very adamant about having at least 2 children--but just this week I told my mom and husband that we're adopting the second child because I'm not doing this pregnancy thing again!

But I do love feeling my baby move, she really is my sunshine :)

Don't feel bad. I felt really guilty for hating being pregnant, but then I found a bunch of moms who also hated it and say how much it's worth it. So... 3.5 months to go, and never again!

Awww, don't feel bad. My morning sickness was SO bad with my first pregnancy (not to mention a whole lot of other horrible symptoms) that I swore that was it, no more babies. I used to throw up 3-5 times a day and lost almost 10 lbs. Then I had gestational diabetes and had to take blood glucose tests 4x/day and follow a super strict diet. I couldn't do it again, so i thought. But just wait...it'll pass and you'll soon forget. And then you'll see your beautiful precious baby and think "Yeah, I would do it all over again.".

I'm also still in my first trimester at 11 weeks today. It's been brutal since 7 weeks with the nausea, exhaustion, and general malaise that comes with pregnancy. As long as everything goes well, I'm looking forward to a little more energy and growing a bump. Right now, I feel like I've been sick since before Christmas, not pregnant.

so far I'm okay with it, but sickness really hasn't hit me yet, it's more of a tired no matter how much I sleep kind of feeling. And I miss caffeine more than I expected. Lately though I have noticed my sense of smell is incredibly picky.

I didn't vote... I am still in my first trimester and I have been nothing but sick and well I am not enjoying it. I hope it gets better.... I think once I get to see the little gaffer and feel him/her kick it will be a little better.

I voted it's ok. For the most part, I've had a good pregnancy, but I just generally haven't enjoyed it. I feel so bad for admitting that. I'm so grateful to be pregnant, and to have the chance to carry our child, but it's just not really what I expected. It's much harder. I really thought I'd be one of those women that loved pregnancy. The only part I truly enjoy is feeling her move, the u/s, and hearing the heartbeat. I'm just ready for her to be here!

Don't feel bad! Pregnancy can be really hard. I hated being pregnant during my 1st trimester, even though I want our baby more than anything. I was sick all the time, lost weight, and could barely keep myself going. I basically put any bit of energy that I had left into getting my work done, and I let my home life fall apart. Luckily my husband was really supportive and picked up the slack. Things did get a lot better progressively through the 2nd trimester as the morning sickness subsided a little (but never entirely went away). Now in my 3rd trimester I really enjoy feeling the baby kick and roll around in my belly. IMHO it makes up for many of the other discomforts that I've been experiencing. We would definitely like to have another child down the road, but I think we'll probably wait 2-4 years b/c I just can't imagine going through another pregnancy any time soon!

I am only seven weeks, have not had a lot of symptoms, but as far as worrying that goes along with pregnancy, I have had a bumpy road and so many emotions this far....makes me nervous. for what is to come. Pregnancy is exciting but scary at the same time

You are not nuts, and don't be embarrassed. I do not love being pregnant, I voted "hate", but there are some parts I like, but really, they are few and far between. The majority of the time it just feels like a very uncomfortable means to an end. I am also considering stopping after 1 because I honestly have NO desire to go through this again.

I dont hate being pregnant, but I dont love it either. It is exciting looking forward to the baby and all that but the actual physical part of being pregnant sometimes feels like an ordeal. I have often wondered how people go through this multiple times but I think once you have the first baby you just feel like it totally worth it

It isn't easy, that's for sure. Some parts were great, some parts really sucked. I'm definitely fonder of it now that the pregnancy is over (amnesia already?). Maybe I will enjoy it more the second time around? I really miss feeling him move, but I love having him on the outside to cuddle :) I took him to the zoo yesterday and saw like 400 pregnant women and felt a tiny bit jealous, then I looked at my boy and was very happy. I guess mixed feelings is where I am at.

I told my husband every day during my first trimester that we were only having one child, and I didn't even have morning sickness. I was just miserable/bloated. Second trimester has been okay, but now that I'm approaching the third trimester, things are becoming unbearable again. I think it's safe to say I'm in the 'hate pregnancy/can't wait for baby to be born' group!

I like it right now. I wasn't happy the first 10 weeks I knew I was pregnant but then magically all the bad symptoms went away and I feel like a human being! I love feeling the baby kick, even when she kicks my bladder... I wouldn't say I love it and I wouldn't say I hate it.

I had a hard pregnancy.... and I'm still debating on doing it again. For me I could survive the morning sickness, aches, pains, and swollen feet. I just can't survive the migraines again while taking care of my LO. If I can take care of my migraines (having a surgery tomorrow for them!) I'd def want to have another.

And that is after telling my hubby no way that we're having a second while I was in labor. And then again after I gave birth and had an awful tear that took forever to heal. But you live through the pain, forget about it, and you'll be begging your hubby for another within two months of LO's birth :)

I'm currently 13w5d pregnant and it took us a long time to get here. I try not to complain about morning sickness and other symptoms because it took us so long to get PG after a loss but I really don't enjoy pregnancy so far. I am embarrassed to admit this...

I seriously shudder to think about having to do this all again (and I used to want at least two kids). Am I nuts? Does it get better? Will I change my mind? Have you BTDT and can share some of your own experiences?
