I agree. If I found out my kid was bullying, I would sit them down and explain to them they need to stop and why. Nowadays with the internet, I feel like it's much more severe than it was when I was a kid. I also feel like kids are just nastier now too. They haven't been taught that being mean to someone isn't right because a lot of parents have stopped trying to parent and are trying to be "BFFs".</p> <p>I won't be afraid to step in either. My 13 year old neice was being bullied by a girl at school. The girl was trying to hack into her internet accounts, she was bullying her at school. My brother finally went over to the girls house and sat there and waited for the girls dad to get him. I just hope we can raise our kids to be confident and strong. Not just for dealing with bullying but just for character development. I don't know if bullying is worse now or whether it's just getting more media attention. Do you think bullying nowadays is significantly different from when we were kids?</p> <p>How are you planning on dealing with your LO being bullied. How much are you going to step in? </p> <p>What I am afraid of is not knowing when to step in. Will I be too confident of my LO and think they will get through it on their own like I had to when I was a kid? Will I think my child is not as strong and step in and may make things worse?</p> <p>I just don't know. </p>
