We are planning on giving LO my maiden name as her middle name, but I've started to have all these other names pop up that I want to give her. </p> <p>I just have no idea of the legal aspects of it, I remember reading somewhere that in Texas you couldn't give your LO 2 middle names anymore, but now I can't find whether it's ok either way! I'm proud to have them, but it is annoying that it's so confusing for people and a lot of the time you can only use one middle name on forms. If you want to do it, it's your call. Our LO has two middle names--a first-name type name after my grandmother, then my last name(i kept my name when i got married). I find it finishes a name. My parents had 4 girls and they wanted to give us all 2 middle names to keep us similar and they said by the 4th they were grasping at straws, hahah.</p> <p>DH is a firm NO to 2 middle names though and there is no way he's going to budge, so our LO will only have 1. Makes me kind of sad but for some reason he's very passionate about it and he doesn't take a stand very often so I guess I have to honor it! lol </p>
